10.1 inch Memoryboard

I LOVE this board. It just makes everything so much easier for my mom with advancing Alzheimers. I can remind her I am coming over, then reminder to get ready, then let her know I'm on my way. Before, I would call and share all three things, only to arrive and she wasn't ready. The Memoryboard has been a game changer for us. We've discussed getting a second board in the future, as she continues to decline.

My mom lived with us for many years until her memory started to fade too much for us to be able to give her adequate care. Every morning before she woke up, I would write on a whiteboard what to expect for the day so that she could remember what was going on. When I needed to move her into Assisted Living, I was really worried about her memory and how to contact her if she couldn’t hear her phone and not having her whiteboard, she was going to be really sad. It was recommended that I check out Memory Board and I’m so glad I did. I ordered it immediately and put it in her new apartment on day one. I made sure that I reached out to all family and friends and gave them an opportunity to send her messages and pictures as well. She looks forward to it every day and always comments every time we visit how much she loves her Memory Board. We can remind her when we’re coming to visit. Remind her of activities that she would enjoy where she lives. It’s sitting right where she can see it from her favorite chair. It’s a lifesaver to all of us and we love it. Thank you so much for developing this for us.

I wish we had found this sooner! I use the automatic messages by day of the week so mom always knows the day of the week.. then update the message to include any appointments or important things for the day. I can update or change the messages in seconds using the app from anywhere! Mom stresses about missing appointments and being ready for things.. so no more panicking over getting ready on the wrong day or time. I just ordered a 2nd one to use in the bedroom so she will see the messages as soon as she wakes up... I might get a 3rd if her memory declines. I also can't say enough about their customer service. On a SUNDAY morning I had a question on using the app and sent them an email. TEN MINUTES later they responded and explained step by step exactly how to do what I needed. I LOVE family businesses!

Let me start by saying that I ran into problems setting up the board in my Mom’s apartment; she is on a 5G network, which is unsupported and errors out during set up. I wasn’t going to downgrade her network and was just beginning to box the board back up when I realized that her complex offers them free WiFi — running 2.4! Out of the box the board came and in less than 5 minutes it was up and running!

The combined picture capability with text allows me to still give her reminders but without a ‘nagging’ quality because they are accompanied by favorite photos. Changing the images makes the notes more ‘visible’ to her because they’re not static.

The ability to schedule messages enables me to pop the right reminder for the appropriate time of day and I’m quickly improving my editing skills to keep within 140 characters.

I’ll be adding a second board to her bedroom so that I can wake her up in time for her caregiver with a loud ‘beep’ and then use the board in the living room for different types of reminders (exercise, eating) once she’s up and dressed.

Honestly, I think her complex should offer this product to every family as part of their service.

We are thrilled with the Memory Board. The fact that it requires no action on the part of your loved one is perfect. And the ability to have multiple family members post messages and pictures is great.
