10.1 inch Memoryboard

I LOVE this board. It just makes everything so much easier for my mom with advancing Alzheimers. I can remind her I am coming over, then reminder to get ready, then let her know I'm on my way. Before, I would call and share all three things, only to arrive and she wasn't ready. The Memoryboard has been a game changer for us. We've discussed getting a second board in the future, as she continues to decline.

My mom lived with us for many years until her memory started to fade too much for us to be able to give her adequate care. Every morning before she woke up, I would write on a whiteboard what to expect for the day so that she could remember what was going on. When I needed to move her into Assisted Living, I was really worried about her memory and how to contact her if she couldn’t hear her phone and not having her whiteboard, she was going to be really sad. It was recommended that I check out Memory Board and I’m so glad I did. I ordered it immediately and put it in her new apartment on day one. I made sure that I reached out to all family and friends and gave them an opportunity to send her messages and pictures as well. She looks forward to it every day and always comments every time we visit how much she loves her Memory Board. We can remind her when we’re coming to visit. Remind her of activities that she would enjoy where she lives. It’s sitting right where she can see it from her favorite chair. It’s a lifesaver to all of us and we love it. We were going to use a digital photo frame then someone's IG was listening and we discovered the Memory Board! What a great, *easy-to-use* tool to put next to my 92 year old mom's (Alz) paper calendar. I still use post-its everywhere, but the Memory Board makes it so much easier to update things in a timely manner remotely. Adding photos is helpful to get her attention. A big plus that other family and caregivers can contribute too.

This tool would've been perfect for our IDD special needs son when he was younger. No more white boards!

I initially bought the memory board to use with my elderly parents, my mom has dementia and my dad has mobility issues. Upon receiving the board, I realized it would be a great device to use with my adult autistic son who has difficulty with communication and relies on his routines. I will be purchasing another one for him. The customer service has been fabulous! I was shocked when I sent a message on a Sunday night and received a response within minutes. Very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend!

This board has been a nice addition to our home where my wife suffers from the permanent side effects of having a Grade 4 Astrocytoma Tumor removed from her brain. She struggles daily with memory issues and every bit of help to keep her on track is welcomed. We tried putting this in her room, but unfortunately even on the lowest brightness setting it keeps her blacked out room lit up and makes is difficult for her to sleep. Although the sleep mode is nice, we want messages to be available to her at anytime. Perhaps in the future with sleep mode there can be a feature that allows it to 'wake up' and display a message for a period of time you choose, then go back into sleep mode. Maybe like an 'emergency' message feature that will allow it to interrupt sleep mode. That way the frame can stay dark when you wan it to, but allow messages to appear in an emergency. Other than that, this is a great product idea and we feel it's well worth the money spent. My wife is always excited when she get a new message from me or other family members who have the app installed.
