10.1 inch Memoryboard

I LOVE this board. It just makes everything so much easier for my mom with advancing Alzheimers. I can remind her I am coming over, then reminder to get ready, then let her know I'm on my way. Before, I would call and share all three things, only to arrive and she wasn't ready. The Memoryboard has been a game changer for us. We've discussed getting a second board in the future, as she continues to decline.

My mom lived with us for many years until her memory started to fade too much for us to be able to give her adequate care. Every morning before she woke up, I would write on a whiteboard what to expect for the day so that she could remember what was going on. When I needed to move her into Assisted Living, I was really worried about her memory and how to contact her if she couldn’t hear her phone and not having her whiteboard, she was going to be really sad. It was recommended that I check out Memory Board and I’m so glad I did. I ordered it immediately and put it in her new apartment on day one. I made sure that I reached out to all family and friends and gave them an opportunity to send her messages and pictures as well. She looks forward to it every day and always comments every time we visit how much she loves her Memory Board. We can remind her when we’re coming to visit. Remind her of activities that she would enjoy where she lives. It’s sitting right where she can see it from her favorite chair. It’s a lifesaver to all of us and we love it. When our dad died suddenly, we looked for something that would help Mom stay safely on her own. Memoryboard has allowed us to remind her of appointments and activities and share notes and photos. Since she doesn’t text, we tell the grandkids it’s a way of sending a “one-way text” to her, and having those fun notes and photos interspersed with the reminders helps keep her looking at the board. In the weeks she’s been on her own, she’s told us how much she likes the board, and the health workers looking in on her say it’s something that will help her stay in her apartment longer. I ordered a second, smaller Memoryboard to have a my house when she comes to visit and will be alone at times in a less familiar environment. This is exactly what we were looking for. Customer service was great and immediately responsive when I needed to change the shipping address due to my error. Good company, good product. I’ve been recommending Memoryboard to friends with parents in similar situations.

My dad is 90 and has been struggling with dates. His memory is ... ok. But dates and his calendar are very tough for him. He has also been struggling with text messages.

My sisters and I got him his Memoryboard for Father's Day, and he loves it. In fact, he likes it so much that he mentions it to each of us anytime we talk.

It has eliminated the "What day is today?", "When is that dinner?", "What time are you picking me up?", "When is XXX birthday?" type questions he's been asking for a couple of years now. He feels in control again because he is reminded of things and doesn't have to ask.
