10.1 inch Memoryboard

I LOVE this board. It just makes everything so much easier for my mom with advancing Alzheimers. I can remind her I am coming over, then reminder to get ready, then let her know I'm on my way. Before, I would call and share all three things, only to arrive and she wasn't ready. The Memoryboard has been a game changer for us. We've discussed getting a second board in the future, as she continues to decline.

My mom lived with us for many years until her memory started to fade too much for us to be able to give her adequate care. Every morning before she woke up, I would write on a whiteboard what to expect for the day so that she could remember what was going on. When I needed to move her into Assisted Living, I was really worried about her memory and how to contact her if she couldn’t hear her phone and not having her whiteboard, she was going to be really sad. It was recommended that I check out Memory Board and I’m so glad I did. I ordered it immediately and put it in her new apartment on day one. I made sure that I reached out to all family and friends and gave them an opportunity to send her messages and pictures as well. She looks forward to it every day and always comments every time we visit how much she loves her Memory Board. We can remind her when we’re coming to visit. Remind her of activities that she would enjoy where she lives. It’s sitting right where she can see it from her favorite chair. It’s a lifesaver to all of us and we love it. Thank you so much for developing this for us.

I just set up the Memory Board for my Mom. She is almost 93. When I sent the first message she saw it pop up and looked at me with the biggest smile!! It gives me the ability to send her a quick note about anything. Thank you for this amazing product. We have sent invitations to our kids who will be sharing pictures of the grandkids and her church friend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have really enjoyed using this with our mom/grandma who lives independently but needs reminders about upcoming events, plus we like sending her pictures and texts since she doesn't use a cell phone. The setup is easy and the app works well. Unfortunately after leaving her alone with it for only a few weeks it's disconnected from the internet and since we don't see her often I'm not sure we'll be able to instruct her through reconnecting it and getting it working again which would be so disappointing. She still sees the default message so we know it's plugged in and I highly doubt she meddled with it in any way. While I was testing it at home I was also able to repeatedly "force" losing the connection and having to manually reconnect through doing various things with it, but we thought she wouldn't be messing with it in the way I was so it would keep working. Our support experience with the issues I had myself was fast and positive, but I don't think they really understood my issue and now I'm not sure what's going on with it. I know she has a stable internet connection supplied by her apartment building so it just seems like the device does not have the best reliability of being able to reconnect itself to a previously recognized wifi network. All I can think is that the power and/or wifi went out for long enough that the device doesn't have enough internal power and memory to remember the wifi network. Hopefully we will be able to coach her through reconnecting it as we were really really enjoying it and wanting her to see it. I just think that maybe if you can't visit your person often to check on the device and troubleshoot it, you may not want to spend the money.

My parents are both hard of hearing and don’t always answer their phone. This has been perfect for them. We got the large one and have it on their table just under the tv so they can easily see it. I can send reminders about appts for each day or activities at their assisted living that they might be interested in. No more calling the desk and asking them to take messages. The board has the day and date at the top but my dad complains that he never remembers the day of the week so I go ahead and put that in my message too. This is truly a game changer for us.
