This tool is making a huge difference with my family member who has memory problems. Writing on a calendar only works for the few minutes that he looks at the calendar. Texting or phone calls used to work, but important information didn't stay in short-term memory long.
Having the reminder message up for a period of time means he sees it multiple times, and he can then recall the message OR he can look at it again.
We use it for morning greetings that include what day it is, events or scheduled appointments, medication reminders, reminders to call someone, and suggestions on what to have for dinner.
He is used to looking at it to get information, and that means he can continue to live alone for a little while longer.
I've had the physical therapist ask for the link, and I've recommended it to several people -- I'm at an age where most of my cohort is taking care of elderly parents in some way.
The only other thing I can say is THANK YOU.
